Short Presentation:
I joined the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, at the University of Copenhagen in February 2014, where I am part of the "Copenhagen Personality and Social Psychology (CoPSY)" research group. Prior to that, I studied Psychology in Bonn (2001-2006) and worked at RWTH Aachen University (2006-2010) and the University of Tübingen (2010-2014).
My main research interests include the areas of Behavioral Economics, Educational Psychology, Personality Psychology, and Work and Organizational Psychology. I am particularly interested in research on counterproductive work behavior, dishonesty, giftedness, linking personality (traits) to various criteria, personality assessment, and the interplay between personality and situation in shaping behavior.
More information (and a questionnaire with automatic feedback) about our idea of the Dark Factor of Personality can be found at www.darkfactor.org. Further, I sporadically write blogposts on individual difference research at Psychology Today, and results on our COVID-19 Snapshot Monitoring in Denmark can be found at https://cosmo.shinyapps.io/COVID_DK/
